Denken is an imperial mage of the second-class. In his youth he belonged to an army but became an imperial mage after winning a power struggle. Often calm and calculating, however he still has a fire burning within despite his old age. He saw Frieren as his motivation to become a mage. Becomes a first-class mage after the examination.
