Toshimasa Azuma

A well known retired onmitsu and the lone grandfather of Jirou Azuma. Toshimasa Azuma, even with his old age, is still a very formidable onmitsu. Among the onmitsu that are a part of the Bureau, Toshimasa may be the strongest of them all. After his grandson, Jirou, was growing up, Toshimasa decided to retire and purely raise his grandson. He chose to do so, as Jirou didn't have anyone else to take care of him.

Toshimasa is rough on Jirou quite often, but he cares deeply for his grandson. The last thing he wants is Jirou dying before he does, so he can be overprotective, if not a bit violent. Besides that, Toshimasa is kind and somewhat young at heart. After the Amagi incident, Toshimasa comes out of retirement and returns to active duty. He trains new recruits and regular foot soldiers.
