Kanata was sent to the world of Locklore by Naiarotep, a Lower God. Kanata was condemned to Cocytus, the most dangerous dungeon, by the Lower God for upsetting him. He had no supplies or powers, only the ability to check status and the language of Locklore. Kanata was saved within Cocytus by a lich named Lunaère, whom he begged to teach him how to survive in the unfamiliar setting.
