万城目芳江

Yoshie is Fumi's mother. She is very close with her niece Hanashiro Chizu and has a warmer relationship with her than she has with her own daughter. Yoshie finds Fumi to be distant despite her attempts to integrate herself in her daughter's life. She understands though that this is typical for a teenager. She is good friends with Okudaira Shouko (Akira's mother). It is through their meeting and rekindled friendship that their daughters meet one another after ten years of separation.
