Despite being a member of the Robot Research Club and being a high ranking player at the fighting game based on the in-universe Gunvarrel mecha anime, Kaito insists he has zero interest in robots and mecha and actively avoids participating in club activities and is only there to supervise the club president and his childhood friend Akiho after being requested so by her older sister.
