Shisui
Representative of the logic side of magic, he and Melanie were created by Ven and the Will of the 13th World in order to solve a certain problem. Quiet but articulate and dripping with sarcasm when he does speak, he's the complete opposite of Melanie.
Equipped with any and every kind of destructive magic, Shisui has the strength to destroy the world if he wished for it. However, that world includes Melanie. So, he holds back no matter how he feels about his world which he finds twisted.
[spoiler]Unlike Melanie, he's inherited his memories of his past life as Seihuo. Incredibly conflicted by this second identity of a life that true him hasn't lived, he feels frustrated and manipulated by Ven. Not wishing Melanie to feel the same anguish that he does, he tries to guide and shield her from the world on their adventure.[/spoiler]
