Marlon is a commoner from Mindia, a village famous for its cheese. He enlisted for his country in the war against the Valenians but his entire squad was decimated.
On his way to a town where he might join the army, he meets Nerion and Nephrity and decides to escort them to the capital to ensure their safety.
