Judas
The supposedly deceased Demon Lord who incited the Angel-Demon war hundreds of years ago. He's actually a fallen angel who rebelled against the mechanisms of their world. Once a bright young man with a purehearted smile, he's become a quiet recluse who just wants to live in peace. Living secretly in a cottage in the woods, the rest of the world believes him to be dead.
Upon meeting Jeanne, Judas offers her a place to stay after realizing she has nowhere to go. He politely refuses to talk about himself, and simply enjoys hearing Jeanne talk about her life, no matter how mundane it is. Judas is a gracious host who takes care of everything Jeanne needs, and never restricts her when she wants to explore outside. However, he never follows her out to civilization.
The two seem to have some history Jeanne isn't aware of, but Judas seems to want to enjoy the peace they have before things change...
