At one point in my life, I needed permission for everything. I couldn't even read my favorite books.

Those wounds on my heart gradually deepened, until I reached my limit. When the one person I'd allowed the tiniest space in my heart for betrayed me, all hope seemed lost.

However, a lot has changed since then, and now I feel truly glad to be alive.
