Kunitaro Higa
Within the cramped walkways of Old Kyoto is the Higa Pawnshop, a quaint building that holds a veritable labyrinth of priceless relics. Long-lost family heirlooms, weapons from bygone wars, tomes and records in languages long forgotten - all of these fall under the watchful custody of the devoted shop owner, Kunitaro.
Kunitaro has never once failed his clients, guarding each and every keepsake with the utmost vigilance until the time comes to return them. Those who are unable to buy back their lost wares only ever blame themselves for their loss; Kunitaro upholds a near-impossible level of integrity in the minds of his customers. So great is his dedication that he keeps one of his most valuable items, a massive stopwatch known as the Jewel of Father Time, under constant supervision for fear of thievery.
While attending Bitokukawa, Kunitaro plans to branch out to different forms of financial study, though maintaining his long-held suspicion of digital currency. And of course, the Jewel is sure to remain around his neck at all times, as it has for years...
