Manzo Shibue

To Manzo, the adrenaline-inducing thrill of filming a risky battle sequence is its own reward, even if few in the audience will acknowledge his efforts in the end. Though his initial aspiration in film was to become an actor in his own right, he continues to enjoy his career as a stunt double. Humble to a fault, Manzo downplays the difficulty and risk of the stunts he performs - a trait that often hampered him in the cutthroat environment of the movie industry, where arrogance is expected and beneficial. However, when he successfully completed a challenging underwater stunt that had long eluded his contemporaries, he quickly became a subject of interest for many well-known producers and directors.

Even after receiving his Ultimate title, Manzo still feels most comfortable in a supporting role to the actual stars of the show. With a fierce dedication to his friends and a cautious dexterity only inherent in stuntmen, he is sure to flourish as a student of Bitokukawa.
