Renowed Anime Director, known for the critically acclaimed anime series Michiko & Hatchin, Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine and Yuri on Ice.
After graduating from the College of Art and Design in Tokyo she joined Studio Madhouse as Production Assistant. She had her directing debut at age 25 on X after which she became freelance.
