Former student of Kyoto Seika University, currently employed at Studio Colorido.
He gained notoriety on the internet during his university years thanks to the short "Fumiko no Kokuhaku," a two-minute-long animation released in 2009 (when he was only 21) and produced entirely by himself. The short attracted attention internationally and won him the Japanese YouTube Video Award. He graduated in 2011 with the project "Rain Town."
He has won several awards as a young and emergent artist, his work has been featured in the Newtype magazine and praised by the likes of Mamoru Hosoda.
