She was a member in the tennis club at her middle and high schools, and she was also the general manager of the club in high school. When Azusa was in 8th grade, she was inspired to become a voice actress after hearing the Akiko Yajima's performance as Kohaku in Inuyasha. She participated in Horipro's 36th Talent Scout Caravan on October 11, 2011, was awarded as the grand prix winner and made her debut as a voice actress in 2012. In 2014, she made her official debut as a singer with the album "Beyond Myself!".
Azusa's hobbies including karaoke, impersonating, making albums, cooking and sewing. Her special skills include tennis - which she has been playing ever since fifth grade of elementary school - and arm wrestling, and she likes to stay healthy. She also loves both cows and movies, and has said that her ideal date would be either tennis or a movie so that she wouldn’t have to talk a lot. Azusa has four older brothers, and she went to the same high school as Megumi Nakajima
